I lead the ICO's Foresight research function; delivering deep dive analysis of emerging technologies and topics of key interest such as biometrics and neurotech and their intersection with data protection.

I developed and delivered the ICO Grants Programme which invites organisations to bid for funding to support innovative and independent research into privacy and data protection issues and develop privacy enhancing solutions and tools.

I worked as a Research Associate on the AHRC funded project 'Cultural Values: Learning from the past' for the Centre of Museology, under Prof. Helen Rees Leahy. Creating institutional case studies at key hinge points, the project explored shifts and connections between articulations of social and museal values.
