I have always enjoyed working in the food and hospitality industry and have focused my summer internships to help give me different perspectives of how restaurants are managed; how the customer relationship path evolves from reservation to seating to dining; how food is prepared and delivered; and how the important interactions between management, chefs, hosts, servers, line cooks, and all other staff are balanced to ensure the best overall experience. While I love to cook and plan menus, my long-term goal is to own and run restaurants.
