Started in July 2019 on a 12 month contract as a QC Scientist 2, was made permanent May 2020, and promoted to QC Senior Scientist 1st January 2021. Promoted to QC Section Head 1st November 2023.Working with multiple products of the Zydis tablet produced by Catalent. Testing the products by Content uniformity, Composite Assay, Identification, Related Substances, Dissolution. Have been primarily involved in working with the HPLC’s to analysis the products as well as Dissolution testing. Have become an in house Super-User for the CDS Empower software during the end of 2020 switch to this new software. Have been involved in training and supporting the team with this process. Am a safety rep for the team, in charge of managing and updating general risk assessments relevant for the lab, worked with the global COVID-19 team to help the lab continue during the pandemic.Day to day, I receive batches into the lab, test the samples and check peers work. I have supported investigations and validation work.Have been in charge of planning work for a small team ensuring departmental monthly targets are met. Performed multiple laboratory investigations and deviations. Maintain the general risk assessments for the department. Have supported and provided SME information during audits.Now a Section Head I will have several persons reporting to me. Ensuring their development continues.

Working a shift pattern (06:00-14:15 and 13:45-22:00) as a Quality Control Advanced Laboratory Technician testing inhalation products for worldwide markets. Making sure that they adhere to stringent pharmaceutical regulations working to a policy of right first time. Always ensuring GMP is followed in the laboratory.Working as an advanced laboratory technician I am responsible for testing the products to various methods including HPLC work. I also check other colleagues work to ensure that all work completed is correct and to guidelines. I have also trained colleagues in relevant tests. I have authored several documents including laboratory investigation reports and training modules. I have been involved in Data Integrity Assessment investigations and KT Analysis of problems involved within my department. These involved working with senior colleagues and others from outside my department.

I was responsible for making the carbon fibre prosthetic parts which involved layering up to 200 carbon fibre layers on top of each other and then heat treating the products. The whole process involved timekeeping, precision, cleanliness and the ability to monitor several processes at one time in a busy environment. This job was shift work - 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm.

I was responsible for testing, trimming and polishing prosthetic carbon fibre feet parts.

This job was part time during the school holidays. My role was to assist customers in purchasing shoes and shoe care. I also had been trained to measure, fit and help customers choose shoes and processing deliveries and orders.
