Was employed to bring stability to and build a team for, an existing Downer Infrastructure and Construction business and integrate a Mechanical Division after Spotless acquisition. As most senior or longstanding staff had resigned from key positions there lacked a distinct understanding of previous dealings and process with my main responsibilities included managing two, separate teams, sharing multi discipline tasks within the group and all the while adopting and meeting new company (ownership) policies and procedures. Significant staff upskilling, was also required, in order to keep works ‘inhouse’ and provide satisfactory outcomes for both the client and business. I was required to gain a thorough and in-depth knowledge of the business, financial position/ fiscal workings and convert data into practical and useful terms, so that operational staff could understand individual project, financial status. Completed various project quotations, tenders and estimates of a wide variety of Electrical and Communication projects to provide a sustained pipeline of proposed works and projects. Was also heavily involved in the screening, interviewing and on-boarding of various Project Managers and Electrical Estimators.

Was employed to manage a business unit within the organisation specialising in various Electrical and Communication installations for new and existing clients.Throughout my career within the company, I was involved in various roles including NSW Project Director, Operations Manager, National Account Manager, NSW Account Manager, Project Manager, Estimator and Business Development Manager.Additionally, I have also been the NSW WH&S Representative and irrespective of other responsibilities, have responsibility and authority for ensuring that the company’s WH&S system requirements were established, implemented and maintained in accordance with Australian Standards.I have accountability for all Site Supervisors, Project Coordinators and Project Managers achieving monthly and annual sales targets, tracking costs, GP, maintaining overhead budgets and aided with the company’s debt collection for the clients associated with my portfolio.

Electrical Project ManagerWas involved in multiple projects and progressed from an Electrical Tradesman to a Project Manager. Works included a six million dollar electrical contract which included over 80,000m of large sub main cabling, the five million dollar Concord Repatriation Hospital, The Aisian Elephant Precinct at Taronga Zoo and where I was responsible for the day to day management of up to 35 staff members.
