I am an Aviation Maintenance student at PCT with my Airframe and Powerplant license. My skills closely align with the qualifications for an A&P Avionics technician. I have acquired over 1,800 hours of training and experience working on aircraft and rotor-craft. My previous jobs and education show my eagerness to advance quickly and my ability to work well with a team. I have had a passion for repairing things my entire life. While growing up, I enjoyed fixing family and friends’ cars and electronics, which helped me gain an exceptional understanding of repair and assembly. Over time, my focus moved to helicopters, which is why I am pursuing a career with helicopters.Some values and culture I am looking for in a company are safety, strong work ethics, and integrity because these are essential qualities of a workplace.In my previous work experience, I was recognized as a professional, hard worker that always took any assigned tasks very seriously. These attributes helped me advance to a management position where I significantly improved the business by motivating the staff and redesigning tasks to be more efficient. I believe I can apply these experiences to my future career in aviation. During my two years at PCT, I have learned to perform general maintenance on the school’s aircraft, which included a Huey and components of a Bell 206. Unlike many other schools with A&P programs, PCT offers a specific helicopter design and maintenance class that gave me more insight and background into rotor-craft mechanics. Throughout my aviation classes, I have learned the importance of attention to detail and the ability to navigate and interpret manuals and schematics.
