I serve on the executive team that develops and achieves TGC’s strategic goals and objectives. My primary responsibilities are to break down the traditional “silos” that have formed in our profession and integrate TGC’s different disciplines: programing and planning, engineering, traffic modeling, urban design, and public policy. By fostering collaboration among professionals, I have helped expand opportunities for TGC to implement cross-discipline approaches and processes. I strongly believe that a rounded approach is needed to provide meaningful solutions to today’s complex transportation needs. As part of the executive team, I focus on staff and resource development. I seek to improve staff retention and growth by mentoring staff, developing skill sets, encouraging training, and articulating personal goals and professional mission and vision.I am an advocate for the transportation planning field. I serve on state and federal planning boards/committees, research and write on transportation issues which are shared at planning conferences, participate in the national transportation policy and rulemaking processes, and mentor young professionals.I am an advocate for the transportation planning field. My responsibilities at The Goodman Corporation include supporting the executive team in executing The Goodman Corporation’s strategic goals and objectives. I am responsible for the management of staff resources and ensure projects are successfully executed in accordance with scope of work costs, schedules, and deliverables. I also am responsible for oversight of project performance and ensuring that projects are meeting the highest standards possible. Additionally, I manage various mobility projects to assist communities with decision making regarding the best use of public resources.

Help leverage our collective talents, interests, and passions to ensure that we are advancing the Transportation Planning Division (TPD) with integrity, fairness and social responsibility. The Executive Committee advances and develops TPD programs that connect our members, advocate our forward-looking policies, and inform the transportation planning industry about best practices, opportunities to serve, and upcoming events. We also seek to include students and forward thinkers through various scholarship and grant opportunities.

My responsibilities at Cambridge Systematics include working around the country to address transportation challenges faced by Federal, state, and local governments, including transit agencies. I assist with the management of transportation projects by providing strategic planning, policy analysis, and management advice. I also support the development and application of objective analytical methods to help clients assess and select the most effective approaches to a range of challenges including asset management, system performance improvement, project prioritization, safety enhancement, economic development and environmental protection.

My responsibilities at The Goodman Corporation include managing and researching the most up-to-date methodologies for demand forecast modeling, environmental benefits calculations, parking analysis, transit needs indexes, garage pro formas and pedestrian enhancement programs. Also included is analyzing data from travel demand forecasting models, land use patterns, examining city, state and federal codes, environmental analysis, survey design and analysis, research design and implementation, gathering and examining census data sets, executing transit needs indexes, utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) software and other transportation planning tasks. I have also been involved in a variety of projects development assisting and managing projects.

My main were duties managing the daily operation of the office. Some other essential duties included but were are not limited to; scheduling for the representative, policy development, supervising interns, casework, answering inquires, working with other governmental agencies and event planning. I attended a variety of meetings on behalf of the office. Constituents and customer service came first and I advocated for constituents to help them resolve governmental or legislative problems. In addition, I worked with other staff members to prepare my boss for meetings, briefings, debates, speeches and etc…
