In my years of retail customer service I have grown to like helping others. Whether it be wine, cheese, clothes, accessories, or jewelry , I could sell it. Years of experience have shown me my ability to be patient in the some of the hardest times. I think the easiest part is putting a smile on the face of your customer. It doesn't take much to do it and its all about how you speak to that person. Everyone is going through something that you have no idea about. Always be cautious of how you speak to someone you do not know.I am also proud of certain achievements I was able to make. For instance , while working at Bloomingdales for a specific quarter I was awarded by my Manager for having the most customers added to my book with increased sales. At almost the same time I had been on a role with my fellow LP associates on cracking down on theft at Bloomingdales. I made almost $1,000 extra in my paycheck for catching potential thieves. My finger spacing skills, folding abilities, and attention to detail were always recognized at Bloomingdales. Was an awesome experience and gained a lot from it.Another experience I had while at Georg Jensen just a few months after leaving Bloomingdales was an entirely different story. I had started to notice things not being in the store when going through inventory. The camera had not been recording since 2006 and I started work there in 2008. Needless to say I notified the corporate office of what was going on and I felt like a hero. I was not commended or awarded anything for my duties as an honest hard working individual. I did what was right.There are many paths a person can take in their life and I hope very much to gain some more experience with linked in.
