Programmer who uses JavaScript (and Java when I'm desperate) to help develop and maintain a web application on both the client and server side.I also have experience with JQuery, HTML5, CSS, NodeJS and TypeScript.In my free time I enjoy exploring new programming languages and environments, most recently React with TypeScript (in Visual Studio Code). I have also dabbled in C# in Unity, Swift in Xcode, and AngularJS in Bracket.

    Manager of the team in charge of FactSet's default document viewer, Document Viewer. Document Viewer allows clients to view financial documents opened from most of FactSet's products within any web browser. Within Viewer, clients can print, download and email the currently viewed document as well as open a number of related documents from the Related Content sidebar. Since joining the team, I have overseen the addition of many features and optimizations, most notably the conversion of Document Viewer's entire Java back end to Node.js. The next project I plan to tackle is the migration from a JavaScript code base (now both front and back end) to TypeScript. My day-to-day responsibilities include delegating work, adding new features, and maintaining the existing code (both client and server side).
