Specify the processes and controls to be applied at the nuclear facility regarding maintenance execution consistent with maintenance programs defined by Station Engineering Departments. Implement station-level processes for performance of all maintenance work consistent with Bruce Power standards. Identify the skill and knowledge requirements of maintenance roles, identify deficiencies and initiate corrective actions e. g. skills training. Implement methods for the conduct of maintenance. Identify and acquire new tools, procedures and technologies to facilitate equipment testing, diagnostics and maintenance. Acquire regular, seasonal and temporary maintenance staff as required. Provide maintenance services to maintain cost effective, reliable and safe operation of the nuclear facility. Managerial Accountabilities: Manage the unit and achieve the approved programs and targeted results through: Accountability for the outputs of others. Maintaining a team of subordinates who are capable of producing the outputs required. Providing leadership to subordinates, sot that they collaborate competently, and with full commitment, with the unit manager and with each other in pursuing the goals set. Providing a safe and healthy work environment. Demonstrating stewardship of the assets and resources. Participating in the Emergency Response Organization as required.

Performed lead Performance Improvement and Learning evaluator for plant evaluations with INPO and the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO). Managed resources assigned to project from international locations and mentored new employees through the qualification process. Regularly working with industry to improve performance and recognizing gaps to excellence. Identify causes of plant problems and strengths. Maintain a thorough understanding of the principals, techniques, guidelines and practices associated with corrective action programs, root cause analysis, apparent cause analysis, self-assessments and benchmarking

Assist the Operations activities at Bruce A (B) and ensure compliance with the Operating Licence, OperatingPolicies and Principles, and all applicable law and regulations as a delegate of the Operations Manager. Ensure alldecisions use appropriate "Conservative Decision Making" and "Operational Decision Making" processes asrequired and that all activities are properly approved. Manage the implementation of applicable parts of BrucePower program 12.01, Conduct of Operations, to ensure all operations activities meet required standards andcomply with processes within the Bruce Power Management System Manual.
