I thrive in organisations that harness intellectual curiosity, propelling people to achieve, and love celebrating the success that it brings. This includes learning from our failures. My career journey commenced in the Royal Australian Navy, from where I recently separated after 28+ years. I was fortunate to experience continual professional and personal growth in that organisation and humbled to have strong influences on my development.It is no secret that I have a passion for people. Self motivated, resourceful and a penchant for promoting great organisational culture, my skills have grown and continue to evolve. I am the beneficiary of an environment that promotes rich teamwork, excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, empathy and clarity of thought during periods of high tempo. Working in the aviation sector afforded me insightful experience applying governance, risk management and compliance, people and stakeholder management skills. A multitude of positions across training portfolios demonstrated my passion and strengths. My astute nature served the team well in my role designing and delivering the RAN MH-60R Training System and leading large teams towards high performance. Leading large teams discovered for me, a hidden passion for project and program management. Moving on from the Royal Australian Navy wasn't an easy decision. I was comfortable. I relish new challenges and opportunities every day and keen to value add.
