Responsible for administration support to over 50 people including Directors, PhD students, Researchers, Research Assistants, Post-Doctoral Researchers and various other staff. The role encompasses project/budget management, staff induction and acts as a central hub for the Centre’s financial transactions. In 2018 I won the Faculty of Health, Arts and Design award for Excellence in Research Management.

Swinburne University Of Technology

The Course Advice team managed all functions of the student lifecycle following acceptance of their offers. This busy role included enrolment and enrolment advice, advanced standing (RPL), student appointments, answering email enquiries and resolving complex enrolment issues for individuals and student cohorts. In early 2016 I became an unofficial team leader of this four person team and won the Staff Innovation Award.

This role was ‘back office’ providing support to the FBE executive for accreditation/compliance, timetabling and reporting. The role included executive officer duties for the Faculty Academic Committee and various other Course Advisory Committees.

A newly created role to support the Manager, Examinations by managing all RACS fellowship examinations including liaison with a number of remotely based surgeons and various committees. Unfortunately the required time commitment did not marry up to the time I had to give it.

As Team Leader, Assessment I coordinated all aspects ANZIIF’s assessment for award and accreditation courses including examinations. A key part of this role was managing relationships with 40+ remotely based SME’s responsible for marking all assessments.
