I played four years of major junior for the Brandon Wheat Kings and was drafted in the fifth round of the NHL by the Vancouver Canucks, signing with them a year later. Although I loved the game, met some great people and lived all over the world, I always had a passion for finance. While playing, I passed the Canadian Securities Course, I earned my Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and my Insurance License. I was only able to play three minutes in the NHL but the experiences over those years were priceless.I joined Edward Jones in 2009 and took over the Quance Street Branch in 2010.
