Robert A. Meeder, PhDRobert Meeder is the Founder (1998) and President/CEO of Pittsburgh Gateways Corporation (PGC) and Chief Executive Officer of the Energy Innovation Center.Pittsburgh Gateways Corporation's mission is to provide strategic planning, development and direct management assistance for communities, community-based economic development organizations, research & academic institutions, and private entities seeking the acceleration of technology-based businesses. Incorporated into this mission is our goal to combat community deterioration in the City of Pittsburgh and other economically distressed areas of Pennsylvania.During his 15 years at PGC and his previous 14 years as a developer and manager of business incubation programs, Dr. Meeder has contracted with universities and government organizations in 31 U.S. States and 9 Countries (Australia, Hungary, Canada, Sweden, Japan, Slovenia, Northern Ireland, Croatia, and France). He has raised more than $670 million in grant funding from federal, state, and local governments and corporate and philanthropic organizations to advance the development work of his Organizations’ clients.
