i've always been interested in words and how people use them. studying communication was just one part of that. I also tried acting and some public speaking and attempted stand-up comedy routines. I pride myself on being a fast learner, and am easily adaptable (I figure out the basics of almost everything handed to me very quickly) I view myself as a creative individual, and have been praised for acts similar to that. one time, I wrote a sort of essay/speech piece for a performance about discrimination of varying types about how being neurodivergent has created struggles around other people, and a person in the audience personally thanked me after the fact, saying "you put some things into words that I hadn't been able to for years". I was within the same 24 hours as giving that speech, invited to give it again at the 2019 "Autism Across the Lifespan" Conference as the opening for the second day. unfortunately, I have not been able to find a video recording of the speech, or it would be posted in my profilewhile not performing any major roles, I was part of a successful election campaign to get Barbara Kanninen elected to Arlington Schoolboard. the work I did there was very ground-level (handing out flyers, signing in guests for a fundraiser, etc.) I graduated from Marshall university in the fall semester of 2021, and am able to enter the workforce.references and resume available on request
