Vastly improved my leadership skills by supervising and overseeing students’ welfare, learning and safety.As my first full-time position, I experienced what it was like to dedicate forty hours per week first hand, as well as living in company-provided accommodation for part of my time there.

I developed skills working with children with attention difficulties and my peers around the same age as me. The children felt comfortable under my watch, wanting to include me in their activities on the first session, and I was praised by my supervisor for my performance.

I got to experience working in the retail industry for the first time and worked under a more rigid performance indicator. I demonstrated my ability to learn new concepts quickly and was praised for this skill by my supervisor. Educational commitments cut this role short, but I picked up some valuable skills during this period, such as improving my efficiency by testing my memory.
