  I do volunteer work under Susan Berg at the Hunts Nursing and Retirement Home in Danvers, MA about 3 hours a day for 5 or 6 days a week. Susan who is the activities director is great to work with and great with the residents. She manages to locate excellent outside musical entertainers a couple of times a week that supplement daily planed activities, such as bingo, bowling, trivia, horse racing, name that tune, etc. Besides Susan, and myself as a volunteer, there are four paid activity members, that take part in bringing the residents to and from designated areas and lead in daily activities. She is well qualified to write her book on the care of those afflicted with Alzheimer's.
