Lead comprehensive overhaul of website to improve access to highways information & enhanced ability to report, & automatic follow-up on defect progress.

Helping to inspire activity in partnership with Essex County Council, engaging with Partner Auhorities; businesses & communities working towards a London Olympic 2012 Legacy cycling event weekend, including two womens professional races in Essex, and a Mass Participation RideLondon-Essex 100 mile event for 25,000 amateur cyclists on 65 miles of closed Essex roads, raising funds for good causes in the process.

One of the first three Air Support Units to form National Police Air Service (NPAS) in Oct '12. Line Pilot flying EC135 from Boreham, moving to Lippitts Hill Sept '18 and then to North Weald in Aug '19.Prior to NPAS was Senior & Chief Pilot from 2000-2012 for up to three Air Support Units (Essex, Cambridgeshire & Suffolk).

With responsibility for Waste Collection & Carbon Management in Braintree District, as well as Parking across six authorities in North Essex, I oversee a wide portfolio of operational Council services, typically high on every local authority agenda. I am also Deputy Chairman of the Essex Waste Management Partnership Board, identifying and implementing significant savings and efficiencies for the benefit of the Essex taxpayer.

Bringing all Essex Waste Collection Authorities together, with the Waste Disposal Authority, to help share & discuss synergies and efficiency improvements across the County for the benefit of our tax-payers.

Senior Pilot for Essex Police at Boreham and Chief Pilot for Essex, Suffolk & Cambridge Police Air Support Consortium, for periods, until we morphed into National Police Air Service in 2012.

TUPE transfer to Essex Police but continuing in Senior Pilot role and acting as Chief Pilot for Consortium of Essex, Suffolk & Cambridge Air Support Units, overseeing 12 pilots and three bases.

Line pilot for Essex Police, with occasional Commercial tasks for Aeromega. Senior Pilot of Air Support Unit from 2000. Introduced new EC135 Helicopter to operations in 2003, along with numerous safety related initiatives for the approx 12 Police Observers and 4 pilots, flying (as a Unit) over 10,000 hours in support of Essex Police & surrounding Forces.

Helicopter Pilot flying Sea King & Lynx. Simulator instructor & Lynx Flight Commander with regular service to '79-'91 followed by Reserve service, including full time recall.Served in many spheres including Falklands Conflict aboard Flagship HMS Hermes; Iran/Iraq warzone, accompanying oil tankers through conflict areas.
