As Quality Assurance Manager, responsible for:• Management of the internal audit program, which includes development, scheduling, performance of, and recording of scheduled audits.• Analyze data and monitor trends stemming from CASS reports, internal & external audits, random surveillance inspections, and corrective action responses. • The continued development, quality, and control of the CASS process, which includes the data collection and reporting to a CASS Board. • Management of a Contracted Maintenance Provider audit process, which follows a risk based analysis of prospective vendors that coincides with on-site audits, issuance and acceptance of resultant findings, and the recording of all documents and data generated by the process. • Ensuring that a Safety Risk Management system is followed with all changes in and to the Airline’s technical operations.• Plan for, hire, and train sufficient qualified auditors to adequately perform the CASS process, internal, and external audit functions.

Jacksonville, Florida Area

 As a QC supervisor, I lead upwards of 8 inspectors performing 121 carrier scheduled inspections, which include AD, CPC, SSI, aging aircraft, and repair assessment; as well as non-routine “buy-back” inspections on several aircraft types for various customers. Responsibilities to my direct reports include aircraft and task assignment, guidance and/or assistance as needed in accomplishment of said tasks, insuring customer and company training requirements are kept current and monitoring attendance, vacation, sick time, etc. Concurrently, I am relied on to assume the role of any inspector on all projects as needs arise due to absence’s, heavy workloads, unscheduled drop-ins, etc.  Secondary duties revolve around customer relations, primarily as an interface between the inspectors and the carrier oversight quality representatives, ensuring that effective communications are maintained at the floor level.

 Conducted "A"​ and "B"​ check inspections on company aircraft. This included scheduled AD, CPCP, RAP, and aging aircraft inspections as well as non-routine inspections in a 100% buy back atmosphere. Additional duties include on-site instruction on significant changes to the GMM and maintenance program, processing major repairs, SDR’s, and 337’s, and auditing completed maintenance packages. Was the primary liaison to any and all FAA visits to the Orlando facility.  From Aug 2006 to July 2009, performed quality oversight at various MRO's during heavy maintenance checks on B727, DC8, and A300 aircraft. Duties included auditing completed check packages, surveillance of in-process RII functions and major repairs, periodic monitoring of personnel working on the company’s aircraft, liaison between MRO and Astar’s engineering, programs, and planning departments, as well as conducting local vendor audits. Additionally, conducted GMM, IPM, and informal TRAX training during assignments at foreign repair stations.  From May 2001 to Aug 2006, accomplished "A" checks and unscheduled maintenance on B727 aircraft as a lead mechanic, supervising up to 12 maintenance personnel. Along with typical maintenance duties, was required to maintain OJT and structured training records as well as tool room inventory, OSHA compliance, and shelf life program monitoring.
