The last city-wide elected four year Mayor of the City of Palm Springs. In November 2019 the City moved from city-wide at-large elections for Mayor and four at-large Council Members to a district representative form of local government. The Mayor is now an annually rotating position amongst the five Council Members each elected from one of five individual districts.
