Supervise over 60 Train and Engine Service employees on the Raritan Valley Line of NJ Transit's Newark Division. Observe outbound and inbound commuter trains in our yard facility. Observe drill moves within our yard and non-commuter equipment moves along the Raritan Valley Line and in and out of our yard facility.Monitor on time performance of commuter trains. Respond to any incident or emergency should they arise as needed, on a 24/7 basis. Coordinate with the Mechanical, Train Operations, Equipment Management and Yardmasters to ensure our commuter rail service meets the needs of our passengers in a safe and timely manner.

Coordinate with the following departments to ensure the compliance of federal, state and NJ Transit regulatory requirements as well as efficient passenger and utility railroad operations:- Rail Mechanical- Customer Service- Equipment Management- Rules and Compliance - Train Operations- Crew Management- Engine/ Motive Power and Locomotive Shop- System Safety - Yardmasters- Federal Railroad AdministrationResponsible for monitoring the operations and safety of 11 Drill Crews as they work throughout the MMC Yard Facility. Observe crews to ensure proper switching of rail cars and engines.Enforce policies of NJ Transit Rail Operations as well as federal and state regulatory requirements.

Responsible for the supervision and rail training of 45+ trainees annually in NJ Transit's Conductor Training Program.Facilitate with the development, preparation, distribution, and administering of material, quizzes and exams to prepare trainees for NORAC Promotion and FRA Conductor Certification. Coordinate training needs with co-instructors to establish rail conductor training curriculum.
