For over 20 years, have conducted research and evaluation of environmental, economic, and social change in rural communities around the world using, quantitative & qualitative methods, remote sensing & mapping, participatory workshops & focus groups, statistical methods including linear & non-linear models. Understanding the interaction between communities and their landscape is a priority for me, and developing innovate methods to understand change catalyzed in particular by rural communities. I have collaborated with multidisciplinary teams across cultures and languages and have functional knowledge of Spanish, and Haitian Kreyol, as well as conversational Kiswahili.
