Currently managing 100 tonne recirculating aquaculture system designed and constructed by RADAQUA specializing in the growout of the grouper, Hamoor (Epinephelus coioides). Duties include stocking of fingerlings, maintenance of filtration components, water quality, and day to day husbandry duties (grading, sampling, health monitoring, record keeping and purging and harvesting for market). Equipment utilized includes ozone generators, UV units, MBBR, drum filters, biofilter, pH control, oxyguard oxygen dosing and monitoring system, spectrophotomoter, centrifugal pumps, foam fractionators, & automatic fish grader. Company currenly undertaking the construction of a 3 million p.a. fish hatchery on site due for completion soon.

Managed 500 tonne recirculating aquaculture system designed and constructed by RADAQUA for our Chinese client. Growout of finfish species including Coral Trout, Barramundi Cod, Pearl Grouper, Barramundi, and shrimp, P. monodon and P. japonicus. Duties included procurement & transportation of fingerlings from Chinese and Australian hatcheries to juvenile facility, maintenance of filtration components, training/mentoring of chinese staff, water quality, construction and commissioning and client liason on important culture decisions. Husbandry duties included stocking of new tanks, grading, sampling, health monitoring, record keeping and purging and harvesting for market. Equipment used included ozone generators, UV units, MBBR, drum filters, biofilter, pH control, oxyguard oxygen dosing and monitoring system, spectrophotomoters, centrifugal pumps, foam fractionators, automatic fish grader and fish pump. Presented results of shrimp culture in RAS system to TARS conference Phuket, Thailand 2016.

Responsible for the identification of construction issues, commissioning of all LSS, stocking & breeding of animals, recruitment of staff, training of staff, purchase of all operational equipment, and opening of the Wynn Macau marine jellyfish display, live seafood aquaria, and fish exhibits.

Responsible for all aspects of the Curatorial Department at UnderWater World Mooloolaba. Facility consists of a 2.7m liter Oceanarium with 3 specific zones: Coral Reef, Cave Grotto, and Pelagic zone. There is also a 400 seat seal show auditorium, 800m3 Seal & Husbandry Pool, 150,000 liter fresh water display with crocodiles, and over 80 smaller freshwater, marine, and semi-aquatic displays housing 327 different species

Trained and inducted new local aquarium staff as aquarists, divers, specialist animal keepers, and water quality operators. Pressure and leak tested and commissioned all life support components in stages, diving compressors, and ozone generators to ensure LSS was operating on each display efficiently. Maintained curatorial record keeping regime, administration and reporting and departmental structure. Participated in fish deliveries and acquisitions arriving both within Thailand and from overseas importers.
