• Technical manager of a team of 19 responsible for developing a world-first implementation of steering angle overlay system integrated into a steering wheel (called Adaptive Steering). Developed software, electric motors, electrical and mechanical hardware and integrated it into a tradition steering wheel. This system is a precursor to a Steer-by-Wire system. The technology was launched on several global car and truck programs.• Led the development of the technology and financial business plan to implement Adaptive Steering• Adaptive Steering was awarded the prestigious 2017 Henry Ford Technology Award

Aug 2005 – Dec 2008 Product Engineer, Electric Power Assisted Steering, Ford Motor Company• Mechanical and Package Engineer for 2010 platform Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) gear. Responsible for packaging supplier steering gear design into future platform, managing supplier, program deliverables, sizing, timing, open design and commercial issues• Lead developer for corporate business plan to implement electric steering across the majority of Ford platforms. Developed migration plan, supplier technology feasibility, trade studies, financial analysis and presented business case to executive leadership for approval. Plan resulted in Ford being a pioneer in converting steering from hydraulic to software controlled electro-mechanical. • Program and Engineering Management for Car & Truck suspension component programs• Responsible for engineering, planning, pricing, profit/loss, quality, delivery and launch of spring and stabilizer bars

• Located in Praszka, Poland as an international service employee on the local management team for Visteon• Managed a team of 63 product and manufacturing engineers, technicians, CAD designers, program managers, and business planners• Responsible for management and implementation of all new programs. Launched several aluminum casting and vacuum pump programs. Launched Ford water pump and Isuzu engine casting program.• Developed a new business planning and development section that is responsible for the quoting process, business development and commercial negotiations with customers.
