As aero-engineer, I am expected to keep aeroplanes in serviceable condition.This entails technical tasks such as inspections and checks, troubleshooting of defects which arise from day-to-day operations, pre-flight preparations, aircraft securing and safety, among other tasks called for in technical department. I also collaborate with flight-deck crew before they make decisions in case of inflight defects.
