RESPONSIBILITIES•Generation of monthly and quarterly acquisition initiatives to grow gross ads and handset revenues.•Come up with strategies of generating quality Gross Ads month on end by reducing customer churn rate and promoting continuous usage of Airtel Sim card.•Custodian of the monthly pre-paid acquisition budgets for the purchase of handsets and acquisition of POS materials to be used in trade to advertise the various initiatives to grow gross hands and push revenues.•Analysing data from sales and distribution so as to come up with initiatives and strategies that will enable Airtel acquire market share as well as maintain quality gross ad business by offering value addition to the customer.•In collaboration with Sales and Distribution division, own and manage prepaid customer acquisition and costs for all segments •Develop a corporate customer database and reporting tool for monitoring performance •Conduct frequent price surveys to ensure that Airtel pricing strategy especially on Handsets is up dated and giving customer’s value for money.•Organize staff and customer incentive schemes with vendors to ensure that both staff and customers are motivated to sell and buy from us.•Innovation and roll out of new products, develop solutions for revenue through innovation searches among others research reports, internet or market intelligence for development within Airtel •Work hand in hand with IT and Network Divisions to ensure successful rollout of acquisition related products, data capture and delivery of requested solutions for specific segments KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:•Managed to stream-line the handset requisition, distribution and sales process hence grew the business by 40% by July of 2012. Grew handset numbers to 45,000 pieces of the Cheap ULCH handsets in September 2012.
