I have lived in the Southern Oregon Rogue Valley area all my life attending St. Mary's High School and Southern Oregon University receiving my MBA in 1994. I have over 28 years in the Telecommunications Industry with 27 years in management. I manage the Operations, Human Resource, Compliance and Training Departments of Action Financial Services Collection Call Center with 500+ employees at its peak. I helped grow AFS from 18 employees to 500+ handling U.S. Department of Education Inbound and Outbound student loan collection calls including managing 5 Subcontractors and 2 AFS call centers. I managed at AFS’s peak 534,886 borrowers with a portfolio of $13,452,181,728 and the average of the portfolio is 465,855 borrowers with $11,369,074,759. I make sure all policies and procedures are created, revised and implemented including being followed to ensure the best work possible for our student loan collections. I ensure we are being compliant to all laws for collection and requirements of our client the US Department of Education including Federal, State, Reg F, CFPB and FDCPA. I ensure all our new hire and continual training meets the highest standards possible which allows us to have the best possible employees including new employee knowledge as well as tenure employees continual growth. Finally, I maintain and grow the energetic, positive and family culture as Action Financial Services continues to grow. I have been very adaptable to change throughout my career including CenturyLink with two company mergers and leading a team of over 350 employees staying focused while this took place. During these mergers I lead the Medford CenturyLink Call Center through system conversions and culture changes. I have had many successes including leading the Medford CenturyLink Call Center to 8 years as being the number one sales center in the nation. Additionally, I have handled working on the United States Department of Education contracts, collecting student loans while working for Diversified Collection Services early in my career.
