Business Development Manager Job Purpose: Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.Business Development Manager Job Duties:• Business Development with current and potential clients:• Identify potential clients to be sourced both Municipalities and Provincial Governments• Profile potential clients and develop sourcing approach for each client• Identify opportunities to be explored• Link client profile with opportunities identified• Develop revenue targets based on client (Municipalities and Provincial Government departments) base identified• Deliver on the revenue targets projected• Develop a Business Development Strategy• Implement Business Development Strategy• Conduct business development session with the clients• Conduct regular site visit to current clients• Market ETM Consulting products and services to potential clients• Attend Municipal council meetings, conferences and exhibitions• Update ETM Consulting Marketing Material• Develop case studies for ETM Consulting Services for services delivered • Prepare and attend Presentations to source work for ETM Consulting• Writing Business Development Reports per week• Office Support and Administrationo Timesheet Managemento Writing of Proposalso Submit Proposalso Scanning for tenderso Complete tender documents• Project Managemento Set sales targets and define strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctuallyo Manage the proposal development process and maintain the time-lines for the proposal teamso Develop draft proposals based on team meetings and discussionso Maintain the Business Development databaseso Support marketing activities, including trade/ scientific shows, mailings, • Populating ETM Consulting Services knowledge management system with reports, presentations and all relevant project documentation
