I lead a team of test engineers supporting low voltage/electronic systems validation for Tesla vehicle programs. My role is to grow and mentor my team, support and unblock my team to ensure validation projects are moving forward and plan manpower and equipment resources for upcoming vehicle programs. I typically split my time between people-managing my team, project managing validation projects and acting as an individual contributor by developing new tools to test more efficiently (typically automation software and mechanical fixtures).

I supported high voltage and low voltage component validation for vehicle and off board charging programs by planning, developing and executing long term durability tests. I worked within a team of mechanical designers, electrical designers, program managers, reliability engineers, engineering technicians and test engineer colleagues. I was responsible for driving test spec development, planning for test resources like equipment and manpower, designing custom mechanical fixturing in CATIA, writing test automation software in Python, writing test post-processing scripts in MATLAB and root causing test failures. My objective was to document hardware durability concerns identified by test failures and support designers to make more durable products.
