Conduct outreach at different bases letting them know the services and resources they get in our program.STRATEGIC PLANNING WORKSHOPS: Set-up yearly workshop schedules for Department of Labor and their contractors. Communicate issues, concerns and inform of any changes to upcoming scheduled classes. Designed and developed 2-year schedule to ensure transitioning population of all the DOD branches are well informed and catered to their needs.SCHEDULE BRIEFINGS AND WORKSHOPS: Coordinate weekly congressionally mandated Pre- Separation briefing. Schedule and manage weekly 5-Day TAP GPS workshop, schedule all entities of transition to brief pieces of their programs to education and inform veterans of their benefits.

Scheduled VA Healthcare representative to brief entitlements and earned benefits. Arranged Vocational rehabilitation representatives to come and brief their program and entitlements. County and state veteran representative brief on local vet centers and state benefits.MARKETING MATERIALS: Order yearly DOL Books, printed forms form DAPS/DLA documenting services, employment opportunities, referrals for employment, and maintain an information board on TAP related services.TRANSITITION MANAGER ACCOMPLISHMENTS:+ Scheduled additional classes each month to balance the waiting list for the TAP GPS Course, there was a waiting list of 3 weeks. Transitional members were taking the course multiple times and causing a backlog of members to be put on waiting lists for upcoming GPS courses. Remedy was scheduling an additional standalone VA Benefits I & II course each month, this decreased the waiting list and focused on direct needs of the customer.+ Assessed and researched the Vocational Rehabilitation Process and saw a need for the TAP GPS participants to be better informed of the benefits, qualifications and program dynamics of Vocational Rehabilitation. Evaluations of participants have increased 100% and climbing.+ Managed 5-Day Transition Program conducting 36 classes a year maintain 100% occupancy of 38 seats, assisting 1,368 individuals Separate and retire from active duty.+ Directed 62 Capstone events meeting one-on-one with 1050 military members from Air force, Army, Guard, Navy, Coast Guard and Marines.+ Monitored 587 personnel ensuring their Career Readiness Standards were at 100% Compliance with the VOW order of 2011+ Managed the Pre-Separation Program going from 2 weekly classes to one class cut manning by 100% saving 208 man hours a year.
