Manage the infrastructure support team, of 15 direct reports, for the Digital Workspace, WARP and ERR platforms within Walmart. These platforms generate over 1 billion dollars in annual revenue, with an operating budget of 10 million dollars. Responsible for creating an environment to enable team success and individual growth. Ensure on-time project delivery, the team has the training and tools required to support the platforms, budgeting, staffing, annual reviews, career plans, vendor management, and operational review presentations to upper management on a monthly basis.

Agile Product Owner for our Digital Workspace platform, which is virtual workstation and application delivery on the VMware WorkspaceOne product. Responsibilities include project implementation, product roadmap, architecture, prioritization, backlog creation and grooming, working directly with customers for requirements and feedback, metrics gathering and reporting, as well as feature delivery and forward-looking industry trends. Directly responsible for the overall customer experience, driving positive NPS growth, and working with internal and external groups to facilitate necessary changes.

Part of the infrastructure support team that manages 750 virtual servers, 250 physical servers and 15,000 virtual desktops. Primary duties are architecture, project prioritization, process automation, systems administration, and mentoring. The team is responsible for maintaining Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2016, Windows 7 and Windows 10, VMware ESX 6.5, VMware Horizon 7, VMware WorkspaceOne, Microsoft Active Directory, EMC XtremIO, EMC Isilon, and Cisco UCS.

Increasing responsibility with 5 direct reports in addition to responsibilities included below as a Sr. Systems Administrator. Project prioritization and delegation, team scheduling, annual reviews, strategic planning and vendor engagement. Led Server Engineering team in modernization efforts, technical debt resolutions and system stabilization.

Primary resource for the virtualization initiative within the company. The environment consists of 31 VMware 5.1 hosts in 3 locations running over 350 virtual servers and 230 VMware Horizon virtual desktops. Other areas of responsibility include Active Directory, Exchange, enterprise storage, virtual desktop deployments, monitoring, PCI compliance, platform security, server hardware, DNS, DHCP, File and Print services, OS builds, migrations, documentation, disaster recovery, and data center management.

System Administrator supporting hardware and operating systems for 900 Windows servers. Duties include OS builds, application installation, support 6 active directories, security updates, maintaining corporate security compliance, troubleshooting application issues with the developers when necessary and coordinating failed hardware identification and replacement.

Managed three separate data centers totaling over 36,000 square feet of raised floor space. Project managed the move of over 500 mid-range server devices from around the United States to the Ashburn, VA facility. Responsible for data center security, environmental operations, and systems monitoring. Met with customers on a daily basis to facilitate resolution of outstanding projects and issues.

Team Lead for the Production Control group. Managed the daily activities of 5 production engineers. Main focus of the group was to administer the Tivoli Maestro tool which was used to schedule over 200 monthly jobs. These jobs run against the Arbor Billing Database to produce month-end billing for some of MCI’s largest customers, including AOL.

TS/SCI w/poly ClearanceSenior administrator of a Windows NT 4.0 network. It is a multi-domain, highly secure environment. Duties include performing daily backups, Active Directory administration and application installations. Administrator for the Exchange servers in our organization. Support for 75+ Windows NT Workstations. Lead developer and administrator for our trouble tracking tool, Remedy.

Test lead responsible for conducting volume/stress testing of code written for the AT&T billing system on an HP Unix platform. Duties included defining test parameters, configuring test scripts to simulate large volumes of transactions. Monitored batch jobs for performance levels and error handling. Created testing methods and procedures for each new interface to the biller. Maintained detailed results records, and generated a divisional summary report for each release.

Provide hands-on support for desktop and laptop PC's using Windows 3.x, Windows NT and Windows 95, including sharing drives, network printing and application support for 100 users. Experience with training and supporting the following MS Office applications - Word, Excel, Access, FrontPage, and PowerPoint. Troubleshooting, installing and upgrading PC/Network hardware. Experience with pc-based databases, Windows NT 4.0 server, and Unix.

System Administrator for a Windows NT 3.51 database (Access) server. Duties include providing secure access to the server for up to 100 users, creating and maintaining shared resources, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, system configuration, and disk store management. Install upgrades, resolve database errors and failures, manage system access, audit activities, resource utilization, and generate customized sales reports.
