Within this relaese role, I facilitating the end-to-end release process for the POS application, which included coordination with the development teams that created the changes, faciliation of release testing, and then the final implementation to the 50,000+ registers across 1,800 stores in production. As the release coordinator, I had a team of four contractor engineer resources that I managed. The release process included facilitating the 3+ major software releases that occurred throughout the year, as well as multiple ad-hoc release fix-packs throghout the year.

I partnered with business and engineering areas to lead two key initiatives within the Scales platform. The first being the effort to upgrade the software application that resides on the Grocery scale device. I helped facilitate/coordinate the initial stages of the effor to upgrade all Target workstations to the Microsoft Windows 7 OS.
