Promoted to Lead Project Manager in April, keeping the same Point of Sale release coordinator responsibilities defined in my previous role, in addition to taking on additional release responsibilities for other various POS-related platforms, such as POS Servers and Payment-related implementations.This role has continued to evolve through the changing technology landscape, in which there is a high demand for releasing/deploying changes in a fast, flexible and efficient manner. Over the past 2 years, I've helped drive the evolution of the POS release process to help accommodate to the need to have faster, more flexible/efficient releases to production. This now includes software changes being made within the POS application, but also changes made to additional server applications that integrate with POS, as well as Payment-related changes (within the introduction of EMV cards into the environment).

Promoted to a Project Manager role within the TTS Stores Delivery Services area, where I drove multiple smaller security-related projects within the Stores area, in response to the Target security breach in December of 2013. After completing the security work, I then moved into a more permanent role as the lead release coordinator for the Point of Sale software application. Within this relaese role, I facilitating the end-to-end release process for the POS application, which included coordination with the development teams that created the changes, faciliation of release testing, and then the final implementation to the 50,000+ registers across 1,800 stores in production. As the release coordinator, I had a team of four contractor engineer resources that I managed. The release process included facilitating the 3+ major software releases that occurred throughout the year, as well as multiple ad-hoc release fix-packs throghout the year.

Promoted from the TLP program into the permanent role as the lead Business Analyst for the Grocery Scales software platform within the Stores Pricing & Signing area. I partnered with business and engineering areas to lead two key initiatives within the Scales platform. The first being the effort to upgrade the software application that resides on the Grocery scale device. This involves coordinating the testing and then subsequent deployment of the application update to the ~3,000 scales devices in production.The second effort involved leading a rewrite of the data management/flow for price and item information that is consumed by the Grocery scales. This required partnership with business and engineering resources to clearly define requirements, monitor development and testing, and then lead the implementation into production.

Selected to join the Target Technology Leadership Program, which is a 14-month rotational leadership program within Target Technology Services. Within this program I completed three rotations throughout TTS, serving in multiple roles. In the first rotation, I served in an IT Business Analyst role within the Target.com area within TTS, in which I created a daily reporting tool/report that provided the health and performance information for the newly-integrated Target.com website.In the second rotation, I served in an IT Business Analyst/Project Management role within the Stores Proof of Concept area within TTS, where I led the effort to document requirements for a new Mobile Point-of-Sale solution, as well as develop a plan to deploy and test this solution in stores. In the final rotation, I served in a IT Business Analyst role within the Stores Pricing & Signing area, and facilitated the effort of rewriting the data flow for Grocery scales devices, which included deifining requirements and defining the rollout strategy.

Served as an Associate Project Manager within the Target Technology Services Corporate Systems area. I helped facilitate/coordinate the initial stages of the effor to upgrade all Target workstations to the Microsoft Windows 7 OS. The main focus resolved around ensuring that all Target HQ applications were compatible with the Microsoft Windows 7 OS, prior to actual OS updates occurring. This included creating processes for identifying all known Target HQ applications, coordinating with application owners, and tracking application testing and/or remediation efforts. This also included creating a estimation model/tool to forecast the amount of funding needed to upgrade/remediate 3rd party owned applications.

Served as an intern in an IT Project Management capacity role within the Global Operations area for Target Technology Services. I assisted in developing a process for allowing HQ software applications to be deployed and used by Target India Team Members in our Bangalore offices.
