I come from a family deeply rooted in hospitality and gastronomy. My father, Teik Boh, founded the renowned 'Slow Boat' restaurant chain, which at its peak boasted 7 high-end Oriental restaurants with over 40 years of experience. I embarked on my journey in hospitality at the age of 14. Inspired by growing up in restaurants from an early age, I would move in and out of bustling kitchens during service, witnessing the electrifying atmosphere of a busy dining room, the seamless interaction of the team, and the fluidity of operations. Customers adored my father's restaurant and what he had achieved. They would often praise the food, visiting 3-4 times a week, and commenting on how special the restaurant and the entire team made them feel. My father imparted upon me the fundamental principles of customer service and successful business management. By the age of 17, I was managing a restaurant, and by 19, I had opened my first one. Since then, I have launched over 28 different ventures, always excited by the challenge of creating new concepts. Venture Restaurants was born in 2004 when we noticed that people were returning to the same restaurant 5-6 times a week. This inspired us to open restaurants with diverse cuisines to offer our customers more choices, thus creating Venture Restaurants. Each of our establishments has its own unique feel and concept, while maintaining the same level of service we are known for. 80% of our diners return, which means that the principles of Venture Group Tenerife are to uphold the highest standards of service, delivered with care and true passion.
