Detail Design of Mombasa Gate Bridge Project in Materials Survey Department.(1) Management of Sub contractors Work,(Sampling and Laboratory test for Subgrade soils,fill materials, Gravel materials, Sand, and water for concrete-mix for constructionmaterials) including field work (Borrow pits and quarries) and visit a laboratory to check the situations (2) Making a list of suppliers for construction materials(3) Collection of general information (Brochure for products, market price, and Certificate forquality test for each construction materials)(4) Visit and interview for suppliers of construction materials if necessary(5) Site visit for road investigation, drainage survey, etc. with JICA study team(6) Support of necessary survey for detail design(7) Interpreting and Co Relating Materials Japanese Standard to British Standard,AASHTO,ASTM and Kenya Standard

1.Lab Technician in Maintenance works of Garsen-Hola Road including; Shouldering, Re construction of permanent damaged Road Sections from Subgrades to Pavement Layers,Borrowpits Material Sampling and CBR Designs,FDD`s tests, Soil testing Procedures in the Laboratory,Patchwork,Overlay,Surface Dressing,,Aggregate Tests and all Premix Analysis tests2.Asst Lab Technologist in Upgrading to Bitumen Standard of Samburu - Kinango Road and Kanana -Shimoni,Vanga - LungaLunga,Jego - Majoreni - Kidimu, Lungalunga - Mwangulu Roads .Sampling and receiving Samples proposed.Soil tests including Grading,Compaction,CBR,Atterberg limits.Aggregate tests,Concrete Testing,MC 30 Cut back and Aggregates Designs,Field works including FDD and Construction Control,Surfacing.3.Lab Technologist Kwale County Roads;Manage all activities and Performances of Lab procedures for the Project.Delegating Roles to junior Staff,Preparing Work Procedures ,Schedules and Records including RFI`s,Sampling,Monitoring Tests,Field work Supervision,Concrete Desings,Soil Designs,Reporting and Submitting Results to RE.
