Northshore School District is one of the largest districts in the State of Washington usually ranking in the top 10 with about 22,000 students in 20 Elementary, 6 Middle, and 5 High Schools . The location of the district provides interesting challenges as it overlaps King and Snohomish Counties and 5 different police jurisdictions. The population of students is diverse and Northshore School District takes great strides to understand and serve each student according to their individual needs.The Safety and Security Department coordinates district-wide to provide a safe environment for students to lean, staff to educate, and visitors to conduct appropriately related business. This is done by effectively building public-private partnerships, strategically using technology, following state laws as applicable to the education system and following school board policies.
