I was invited by the Founder, Seth Andrew, to join him on a journey which he hoped would create a model charter school in the Harlem community. It was a journey that we, at Boys and Girls Harbor had dreamed about for many years prior to the passage of the New York State Charter School law, but was now a reality - private management of public schools..

Harlem Hospital Department of Dentistry has three training programs; General Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Pediatric Dentistry. As an Attending Dentist, I am involved in the instruction and supervision of the General and Pediatric residents as well as providing direct dental care to the most difficult children and adolescents.

Boys and Girls Harbor is an educational organization with a more than 70 year history of providing services to more than 5,000 young people from primarily Northern Manhattan. The Harbor provides 6 types of services; camping ( summer and winter weeks/weekends, pre and after school education, elementary and middle school education ( Harbor Charter School).
