Following my appointment as Managing Director for SGRE, I was ultimately responsible for all company activity in Ireland, including being the highest point of escalation for all matters. In addition to merger and harmonisation elements throughout this period, my primary focus remained the health and welfare of all employees; the company financial performance and all relevant accounting, financial and internal reporting; delivering legal and contractual obligations including adhering to all internal controls including quarterly attestation and enterprise risk management. During this period, SGRE was awarded the Industry Award of Exemplary Health & Safety performance, shortlisted for the IBEC Best Small Company while also delivering a significantly increasing margin.

Uk & Ireland

Due to rapid growth and increased complexity, I was appointed Head of Offshore Operations (west coast), where I was responsible for all Operational Windfarms along the west coast of Great Britain, from Wales to Cumbria. This role involved the development of processes and procedures to meet the ever-increasing demands of a relatively new and extremely dynamic working environment. I worked closely with commercial partners to develop and implement the required recruitment and technical development plans, that ensured the successful delivery of all contractual obligations in an efficient and effective manner, for both Onshore and Offshore operational elements

Ireland

Following the merger of the Siemens Renewable Service and the traditional Fossil Service businesses, I assumed responsibility for all service activity within Ireland and became the Head of Energy Services for Siemens Ltd. I worked closely with colleagues and management in the UK to streamline operational activities and develop appropriate synergies within the local team in Ireland and across the UK. I was delighted to be awarded the Siemens Customer Excellence Gold Award

As Operations Manager, my main responsibilities included providing leadership to the Service Team in Ireland and to work closely with my commercial partner to deliver on all targets. Key objectives were the development and implementation of an annual Health & Safety plan, secure additional business through value adding opportunities with customers, build strategies to extend the share of existing markets and open new markets, identify and develop the next generation of leaders and successors, while continuously developing the skills and capabilities of the Renewable Energy Service Team

Manage all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of wind turbines, including the High Voltage network on site. Analyse site performance as part of the Asset Management Strategy while continually liaising with the Network Operator, OEM, and Site Owners

Oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of injection moulding equipment, high-speed packagers and pneumatic robotics
