This was done by working with the program managers to standardize process, and improve technology interface making it easier for our associates to use. •Rolled out and implement ten advanced sorting machines that increased the average unit per hour processed from 200 to 512 units, based off volume and hours spent in these direct paths. Each unit processed through these machines saves .12 cents, compared to our old process. This results in an average savings of $400k over the course of a month. •Implemented process improvements to the advanced sorting machines that allowed them to exceed their potential of processing 150k units in a single 10 hour shift to a high of 189k processed in a single shift. This was viewed as a major improvement by senior management. •Selected by senior management to help lead the implementation of these advanced sorting machines across the IXD network. My duties involved training area managers, and program managers through educating them about the machines, creating training modules, staffing models and relaying best practices.•Selected by senior leadership to work on an IXD network Prep Kaizen that focused on process, quality, and standard work improvements that has resulted in $17.1 million dollars in savings. •Performed duties of Area Manager I with increased responsibilities while working as an Area Manager II.
