I grew up on a dairy farm, served in the Army as an Infantry Squad Leader, and worked as a General Manager in the Lawn and Landscape industry, so I am no stranger to hard work. For 19 years, I devoted my work life to pursuing my career goals at UPS. From the box lines to the package cars, to the frontlines of management and supervision, I had a tremendous opportunity to gain firsthand insight and knowledge of safe, efficient, people driven team management practices. Now I've taken the skills and business knowledge that I gained from all my diverse experiences and brought it together as owner of OEI Construction in Brighton, MI. To be an effective leader, I strive to be an example for my charges as well as my peers by walking the talk. I value honesty and integrity and apply these values to my work and leadership. I embrace a servant leadership style, and I aspire to keep taking those "next big steps" in my life and my business so that I can capitalize on my strengths, challenge my potential, and afford opportunities for unlimited growth to those who would choose to join my team.
