About Robert Okello Omach

Hey there, welcome to my profile!Over the past 15 years, I've been deeply involved in shaping competitive market systems in the East African Region, especially in Uganda and Tanzania. My focus has been on agriculture and energy sectors, working at both national and sub-national levels to drive efficiencies in firms and industries.Currently, I'm at the helm of a mobility social enterprise in Uganda, where I handle operations, strategy, and market growth. What sets me apart is my knack for understanding the intricate connections between different market systems, be it Agriculture, Mobility, Climate, or Energy, and navigating the complex geopolitical dynamics at play.I've got plenty of hands-on experience under my belt, having led and implemented solutions in SME planning, entrepreneurship ecosystem support, and impact fund management. In fact, I've co-founded three startups in Uganda, including a business management consulting firm and an agro-commodity export enterprise. My expertise doesn't stop there. As a sought-after consultant in the region, I offer valuable insights into market systems development and entrepreneurship. I'm also certified in Project Management (PMD Pro level 1) and believe in the power of Adaptive Management and Emotional Intelligence (EQ). And hey, I'm always diving into data science (Python and R) for small-scale business analytics and exploring its applications in international trade.
