Ensure the safe operation and daily inspection of CVCA-owned and operated equipment. Perform administrative duties and data collection. Responsible for handling cash, using a cash register with electronic payment and preparing detailed, accurate daily cash reports. Provide visitors with detailed information about the Conservation Area and surrounding area from a recreational and educational perspective. Promotion of products and rentals at the Visitors Centre. Carry out general development, park maintenance and operations procedures in the areas as directed. Maintain a good working relationship with community groups and on-site operators. Work with forestry staff to perform manual labour and general tasks within the nursery, reforestation planting projects, naturalization planting projects and invasive species management. Assist in care and handling of nursery stock. Source stock from nursery for planting projects. Prepare sites for tree planting. Plant trees/shrubs. Invasive species removal. Physically demanding (lifting over 50lbs)

-Primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of myself, other employees of MPAC and the equipment, while accompanying inspectors by boat or car.-Operation of boat during boat-access inspection. Assist Property Inspectors on water- access field visits (i.e. data collection, field inspections etc.) and data verification.-Conduct on site inspection of properties (Building permits, sales, unfinished allowances, re-inspections)-Collect site variables and update applicable databases. Match measurements from maps to source database. Take pictures to document visual changes to properties. Update corporate database(s) with information.-Updating/keying permits, re-inspections, sales and other data-related input requirements. Investigate issues and report issues to supervisor. Perform filing duties.-Trained a property inspector to safely operate the boats, navigate on water and trailering techniques in 2010.
