Later accepted the challenge of managing the entire Newark operation, consisting of 9 stores, 40 employees, and 60M+ in transactions. Was awarded runner-up the following year.Generated year to year growth in revenue by relentlessly implementing the companies' ever changing sales process. This was achieved by constantly recruiting, training, and coaching sales consultants. Developed top producers into future management candidates.Guided all stores to satisfactory internal audits by demonstrating a high level of operational and risk management control. Implemented a "Customer First" program to ensure continued passenger satisfaction. This was done in a dwindling economy when it was apparent that associate morale was declining.Used a far sighted approach in maintaining a solid relationship with airport management, listening carefully to their needs and concerns.
