I am and have been for over 30 years in full-time private practice as an adult general psychiatrist in Saint Augustine Florida. Throughout that interval I have maintained Active privileges at Flagler Hospital in Saint Augustine Florida practicing inpatient psychiatry, consult liaison Psychiatry, and forensic psychiatry, in addition to maintaining a full-time private practice with a widespread referral base including specialists and primary care providers. In service to Flagler Hospital I continue to be a member of the ethics committee and the continue medical education committee. I am board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.I am proficient by experience with electronic medical records including Allscripts, Cerner, and Practice Fusion.I am experienced and effective in the treatment modalities of medication management and supportive psychotherapy for mood disorders, including depression and bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, including panic disorder and generalized anxiety disorder and social anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder, and I have a special interest and background in treatment of eating disorders. I am experienced also in treating substance use disorders at initial and acute presentation and in maintenance treatment.
