Dr. Robert Oller is an Osteopathic Family physician and Chief Medical Advisor for the Division of Clinical Operations Nova Southeastern University (NSU). He did his undergraduate work at the University of California, Berkeley. He received his Osteopathic Degree at the Kirksville College of Osteopathy and Surgery and completed his postgraduate training at the Metropolitan Hospital Philadelphia Pa. He is certified in both Family Medicine, by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and Utilization Review and Quality Assurance, by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Physicians. He holds a certificate in Medical Management by the American College of Medical Staff Development. He practiced family medicine for 23 years in North Miami Beach Fl. During his career he has received appointments to both state and federal regulatory agencies, hospital executive boards and has served as medical advisor for both public and private health care organizations. He was a co-founder and chief medical officer for Family Health Plan, a managed care organization in Florida in the late 80s and early 90s prior to its purchase by Patient Care of America where he served as chief medical officer and vice president of medical affairs for quality assurance. He currently serves on United Health plan and Cigna Health plans medical advisory boards as well as serving as a medical advisor to The Independent Colleges and University Benefits Association, a self-insurance association to 22 educational facilities and Universities. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Nova Southeastern University’s Division of Clinical Operations for 18 years and is a Professor of Family Medicine for the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Masters of Public Health Program.
