I worked with a talented group of pipefitters, mechanics, electricians, carpenters and office staff as well as several contractor firms to maintain the facility, grounds and mobile equipment fleet.

Prior to this position I supervised the shipping/receiving dock for 2 years and fabrication departments in production for 3 years.

Also, worked closely and provided direction to mechanical and electrical engineers who supported department activities. 25 years total roll shop experience including 15 years in supervision and 10 years as a practicing roll shop technician.

Supervised crews in support of roll shop operations to maintain rolls and assemblies used in the various rolling mills and sheet finishing operations throughout the factory.

Completed 3 year apprenticeship program and continued working as a practicing specialist from Jan 1981 until March 1990. Responsible for grinding mill rolls to specific sizes, shapes and finishes. Also, maintained mill rolls, bearing housings and bearings and other mill and shop equipment.

Assisted foil mill and sheet finishing operators in their efforts to produce various light gauge aluminum products used in common alloy and high end applications.
