•Employed a multi-scale approach to study how cellular and tissue architecture actively orchestrate developmental and pathological trajectories using the zebrafish vertebrate model.•Used advanced genetic and cellular manipulations (CRISPR, opto- and chemo genetics) to investigate fibroblast development and communication in the context of organ assembly from the cell to organismal scale.

• Leveraged in silico modeling, CRISPR-Cas gene editing, and high-throughput quantitative microscopy to discover a binding interaction necessary for polarized growth in plants• Instrumental in securing my advisor’s first NIH grant.• Co-inventor of a novel RNAi technology that enhances gene knockdown efficacy. This technique was coupled with a high-throughput imaging assay to quantify both morphological defects and signaling abnormalities through an internal fluorescent reporter. • Implemented new techniques in advisor’s lab, such as CRISPR-Cas gene editing, yeast two-hybrid, microscale thermophoresis, and others.

• Worked as a lab technician and lab manager for Prof. Glenn Gaudette of the Biomedical Engineering department at WPI. Contributed to research of cardiovascular regeneration, specifically investigating the use of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and their capacity to functionally replace the damaged myocardium resulting from a heart infarction.
