As a property manager, I’m tasked to oversee all operations, maintenance and general administration work for the units currently managed. In addition, I regularly undertake property assessment and generate a master log of all the assets in the respective properties with their details, conditions, service history and general working conditions. After assessment I would generate a report on their physical operational status, performance and maintenance requirement which I would share with the management. I would generate a property store inventory sheet and coordinate purchases and tagging of the new assets bought and monitor their movements using an issuance sheet. Regularly I update the master inventory list with newly acquired items and write-off old ones once disposal approval has been made. Annually I would assist auditors in the auditing process by taking them through the inventory files and physical items inspections.
