Tasked with planning an updated data set for REG's Transportation Dashboards in Tableau. I worked on a portion of the SQL coding, completed and validated one of the three stored procedures I had identified as a need, and worked with the SQL and BI teams to lay the ground work for their plans going forward.

I was given the responsibility of verifying the data in Great Plains and Dynamics, to research and find business intelligence tools that would work well with those two platforms, make recommendations, and push to implement. We had started using Power BI for some basic reporting and dashboarding, and was working toward implementing SSRS. I also assisted the Finance department with automating some of their daily duties.

My primary focus with Blue was in Business Intelligence. Both in assisting with data model design, developing both flexible and actionable, historical, live time and predictive views of transportation operations. I work directly with the Sales Finance Department to ensure SOX Compliance for Sales Reporting. I was the primary contact for all data related issues in the Warehousing and Distribution Department. I am a report developer in the SAP HANA and IBM COGNOS reporting tools. I also Admin the Manhattan Transportation and Logistics Management system. I ensure the TLM is operating as intended through daily maintenance, monitor help desk tickets with Manhattan’s SAAS team and work toward testing and implementing changes to internal processes and transportation network design. I have been a key player in several projects during my tenure with the herd. Including the implementation of the Manhattan TLM, the Transportation Dashboard in Tableau, and HANA data modeling of the TLM data.
