I am a Shareholder with Leahy, Eisenberg & Fraenkel and Chair of the Firm’s large loss Subrogation Department. Over the last two decades, my practice has and continues to focus on complex, high value subrogation cases. First and foremost, I am a trial lawyer who has successfully tried countless cases to verdict in Federal and State courts across various jurisdictions, including, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Kansas, Virginia and Alabama. I have also had the opportunity to argue cases before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Illinois Supreme Court and Illinois Appellate Courts. Through an aggressive, yet personable, approach, I have been able to consistently achieve excellent results on difficult cases. In addition to my vast experience in subrogation matters, clients have called upon me to represent them in first-party and third-party defense cases, I have successfully tried to verdict several multi-million dollar first-party and defense cases. I am a frequent lecturer to the insurance industry and professional organizations supporting the insurance industry on various issues pertaining to subrogation handling, loss investigation and general litigation matters.
