As an intern in the World Wide Storage Specialist organization, I work on Flexible Snapshot Proxy (FSP) an open source project on AWS Labs to improve the speed and efficiency of EBS snapshot distribution and synchronization. With the FSP CLI client, a user can transmit data at a rate of 1 TB every 6 hours. On this project, I have been preparing the codebase, documentation, and GitHub infostructure for the initial release.I have done this by introducing unit testing with CI/CD pipelines via Github Actions. Additionally writing documentation to introduce and bring new contributors up to speed as the goal of this project is to collaborate with industry partners to increase the number of data source and destination endpoints.

I worked closely with Professor Monika Abramenko to assist in the Calculus 2 education for 1st year engineering students. My responsibilities were to address questions students have about solving worksheet problems and grading those same worksheets. This job was very rewarding to me because I enjoy developing others. I get pleasure from explaining difficult concepts to people and asking follow-up questions to ensure that they understand the content. It was great to 'pay it forward' as Teaching Assistants were very valuable to my learning of college-level Calculus.

SDE Intern for Amazon Go stores in the Physical Stores division of the Operations organization. Responsible for creating a highly scalable, extensible, and available framework to solve the following problems: an internet of things (IoT) monitoring tool that visually communicates IoT device network topology, performs device management, and makes health metrics easily accessible. This tool was developed using Serverless AWS services which were capable of scaling to support over 10,000 stores. Additionally, this tool was designed to support internal and external users per business requirements. I was the lead in designing and implementing this tool's cloud architecture.
