I am a jazz enthusiast, and I am always drawn to the strong, steady tempo of the string bass. Like the bass player, I also provide a quiet strength to each and every team. I leverage my technical background, leadership, and communication skills to create solutions to the most complex Information Technology (IT) problems. I have over 25 years of experience in software development and system administration. Throughout my career I have managed teams ranging from 2 to 10 employees across geographic locations in government and private sector environments. Additionally, I use my verbal and written communication skills to effectively develop and deliver client training, executive presentations, and internal seminars. The jazz musician Herbie Hancock said “forget about trying to compete with someone else. Create your own pathway, create your own vision.” As I pursue my graduate education, I am creating my very own pathway to a career in senior management built on a solid foundation of technical expertise and business acumen.
